The Dizzy Witch Cafe

Dizzy Witch

Heading out with my best friend, Audrey and godson Caleb for the day, we started our day out with breakfast at Dizzy Witch.

Located in a quiet spot in Northbride across the road from Northbridge Hotel, this cute little café is designed to relax and enjoy your meal with friends. There are comfy couches scattered around with a huge variety of newspapers and up-to-date magazines.

There is even a bookshelf with plenty of books for you to choose from.  One can also can take advantage of The Dizzy Witch’s free Wifi, bring the laptop, and savour a great coffee at the same time.

I decided to order their Moroccan Eggs which was fried free range eggs with home made dukkah & hommus, mint, red onion & tomato relish on toasted Turkish bread. It was good and that’s how I going put it. Nothing too special but wished they caramelised the red onions instead of using fresh ones which was rather over-powering. The home made relish was yum but!

Audrey ordered the Warlocks last meal and that consists of organic bacon, free range eggs (cooked to your choice. Here Audrey had hers scrambled), on toast, grilled roma tomato, potato rosti, Dizzy’s mushrooms and beef chipolata. Now, that’s what I call a big breakfast! It was massive and looked really good. I had a taste of their mushrooms and they were fantastic. So creamy and morish!

I also ordered their freshly squeezed juice which was a mixture of orange, watermelon and apple. So refreshing and sweet!

You can see that plenty of regulars frequent this café and I would definitely give it another go. Possibly try something else on the menu. The service is spot on with staff eager to please and the back of house is quick, great if you are starving too.

On the whole, 8 for the food quality, 8 for the atmosphere, and 8 for service.
